Illustration Friday: Remember

Cutting it close here. I was trying to think of something that I remembered from my own childhood...then I decided I would do something I wish I remembered. And this is a little inspired by Pascal Campion, I'm not gonna lie. And yes, I realize I stuck another purple tree on the left of the picture...I happen to like them there. Inked in Flash, colored in Photoshop. I was looking at some Pogo comics but I'm about 50 lightyears away from Walt Kelly.

Nice one Bill...Fun style and I like the detail of the open silhoutte mailbox. Damned kids and their combustable engines! :0)

Nice work, Bill.
My friends at Dreamworks are praising Autodesk Sketchpad to the skies. It's how to get a Walt Kelly line with little effort (though you still need talent to use it.) I'll be picking up a copy. It is not at all expensive and the results are amazing, as you can see on Patrick Mate's blog. (just google him and you will get to the blog.)
